Where to Find Us.

A pop-up masala chai shop and liberation space for the chai-aspora.

LA is home to the fifth largest concentration of South Asian Americans in the US as well as chai lovers and activists across other marginalized identities - yet it’s hard to find a good cup of chai!

Masalawali means "spice merchant," and we intend to host spicy conversations that uplift our own and other marginalized communities. We hope you'll join us in the collective fight for moksha -- or liberation -- over a good-ass cup of chai!

  • Every Sunday from 8am - 1pm as part of the Queer Owned Business Pop-up at the famed and favorite Hollywood Farmers’ Market.
